Emily graduated from The University of Dayton with a bachelor of arts in communications and a minor in marketing. While in school, she was an assistant in the university’s office of public relations and spent time creating a PR campaign for Life Essentials, Inc., a non-profit organization in Dayton, Ohio. She served as social chair for the professional communications fraternity, Phi Beta Chi, enjoyed participating in “Christmas on Campus”, a UD tradition, and has also been involved with The Cleveland Foodbank and the American Liver Foundation.

Emily is excited to explore San Diego, get involved with the community and most importantly, avoid freezing winters. She also hopes to meet new people who can look past the fact that she is – and will forever be – a Cleveland Browns fan.
